Liannet Borrego

At a very young age, Liannet Borrego’s parents noticed her passion for the Arts. To help foster and nurture her talent, they immediately enrolled her in dance and acting classes. At the age of 12, she moved to Miami, Florida from the island of Cuba, and continued to pursue her studies in the Arts.

Liannet, who has worked both in Miami and in Los Angeles, is best known for her roles as the lead or supporting character in numerous television soap operas for Telemundo, Venevisión, Nickelodeon Latinoamérica as well as for independent movie projects.

In the recent past, Liannet was signed exclusively with Telemundo Network and appeared on soap operas such as: “Pasion Prohibida”, “El Fantasma de Elena” , “Mi Corazon Insiste”, “Secreteando”, and “Una Maid in Manhattan”.

With Venevision, Liannet’s acting credits include  “Mi vida eres tu”, Acorralada”, “Amor Comprado” and “Pecadora”. She was also part of the successful TV series known as  “Grachi” for Nickelodeon Latinoamerica .

Liannet’s latest project is Merrick Park, where she plays Daniella Silva, a junior level corporate executive for a large, US auto manufacturer.

Daniella is an effortlessly stunning, smart and quick witted engineer who has quickly climbed the corporate ladder becoming the first Latina to be named regional marketing director for a major US automotive brand.

Although Daniella may have graduated with top honors from an Ivy League institution in the United States, when it comes to her love life, she can’t seem to make the grade.
